Musk's cronies tried to to gain access to classified USAID data. USAID Director of Security John Voorhees security said no. The Musk people threatened to call in the US Marshals and take the data at gunpoint. They still said no.

It would be fantastic if major federal institutions would acknowledge that the executive branch cannot legally unilaterally cancel or redistribute congressionally appropriated funding on ideological grounds and thus they have no legal obligation to comply with such directives

First, individuals can be male or female without producing gametes. Otherwise, what, do I stop being female once I hit menopause? Are women who do not ovulate for whatever reason not technically female? Are men with Klinefelter syndrome not technically male? Nonsense.

We got very lucky and had a break in the clouds for totality just outside of Austin today. My friend had a Hestia telescope/filter by Vaonis and got some stunning photos of the eclipse.
