Remember, one politician who basically quit Twitter and almost never posts there anymore: Donald Trump.
Also striking that Rachel Reeves has been off of it since 2 January.

This, from @benjaminpenn.bsky.social, is a good update on Epstein review.

But thus far no one is answering Q Pam Bondi probably doesn't want to answer.

DOJ spent 1000s of person-hours in March doing review. What purpose did it serve that it all got scrapped?

Jaimee Seitz said her daughter was convinced to take her own life by members of the online True Crime Community, or TCC, who glorify mass shootings, violence and nihilism.

The remarkable thing here isn't the universal revulsion. Its that two large parties - Reform and the Conservatives - are trying to maintain stances favoured by around 0-1% of the public.

Polling like this also suggests that whenever Labour does develop enough backbone to act, there's no going back

Labour can extend this beyond X and start going after Reform politicians making money from the site. "Will Farage give back the money he made from this sex offender site?" Etc...

"Abolish ICE" is like "defund the police": both the general public and the hardcore activists will think it means one thing (in this case, scrap all immigration enforcement) while the serious policymakers will mean something else (*replace* ICE with different, better, non-rotten agencies)
"47 training days" is "Donald Trump is doing mad king shit that's about his ego, none of this is about what's good for us"

Abolish ICE is absolutely necessary (the institution is rotten and staffed with thugs), absolutely justified to anyone paying attention - but not a winning rhetorical issue

Everyone, move your money the fuck out of the US. Capital controls are a slippery slope. I've got US investments and I'm going to have to think about if and how to move them.

Folks, is it a good sign of faith in your economy when you are instituting capital controls?

It would take a two-word amendment to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 to subject ICE agents and other federal law enforcement officers to the same liability for constitutional violations that local and state officers currently face.

If Congress actually cared about what it's seeing, it could pass that overnight.

It's raised over $400k and is still live.

Understandably the literal murder is getting the most focus in terms of potential state prosecution, but murder is not the only crime. States have laws against assault and battery, and a much larger pool of justifiable cases to pursue.
Note that the fascist is not using the pepper spray for crowd control. He is entering a vehicle unimpeded to depart. He is simply using the pepper spray to physically punish an unarmed citizen he doesn't like.
Big clash this afternoon between DHS agents and protesters in a residential street in Minneapolis, following a DHS agent hitting another vehicle. Tear gas was deployed in people’s yards and agents pepper prayed people.

Ultimately it’s not a hard question, or shouldn’t be: if there were a website called creepywank dot org, where you could upload any picture or screengrab of anyone and get AI to produce a photorealistic picture of that person, regardless of age, in a state of undress…should it be legal in the UK?
Stephen has been bang on with this aspect of Badenoch's leadership from the start, and it has culminated in a position of being squeamish on banning a site mass-producing CSAM images because something something "Labour might ban it"
The premise of everything Kemi says and does is “if Labour are doing it, it must be bad”, and everything else is about her making intellectual pretzel shapes around that.

There are two crowdfunding campaigns for Renee Good's killer.

- A Gofundme was set up by someone with a pro-Nazi profile pic

- A Givesendgo made by an antisemite who included antisemitic content in the fundraising blurb.

So yeah.
