I remain convinced that if the mainstream media simply treated this administration the same way it treated the Biden administration *or even Trump 1*, this one would already have collapsed less than a year in. These people are deeply, fundamentally insecure and terrified of any resistance.

Good. But the Supreme Court's Chadha decision has gutted this WPR mechanism, like it did many of the post-Watergate reforms, because now it can only take effect if you get past the inevitable veto. It's worth doing as a statement of opposition, but Congress has allowed it to become toothless.

When I was 11 we learnt about the Kakapo, a bid dumb flightless parrot with no natural predators that was almost wiped out by the introduction of cats. We had to write poems about them. The teacher called them... kakapoems.
Yesterday we started #kakapo artificial insemination for the season. We do this to help maintain genetic diversity, with a potential additional benefit of improving fertility. We inseminated Esperance, who mated naturally a few nights ago. #conservation #parrots #birds

Eh, blocking is low-impact enough that a few false positives probably don't matter much, but liking a post can mean "agreed with it" or "didn't read it or understand it properly" or "my fat finger slipped while scrolling".
