First flight test for the Muybridge mutoscope! Not yet finished, but I'm pretty happy with it's first test run. Gotta love that clack, clack, clack. #id-muybridge-mutoscope

Having easy access to a laser cutter makes it a breeze to knock up interesting boxes to hide appalling plumbing from Christmas guests! However it also means you end up with loads of groovy looking offcuts you can’t bear to burn. Anyone got a use for a hundred or so blobby mushroom shapes?

Boy+Bot version two. Thought I'd try a wood version with an acetate window.

Finally had a go at using the laser cutter to make a shadow box and I love it. I designed this scene to represent me teaming up with machines to make art. It's a bit flimsy in places and perhaps corrugated card isn't the classiest spacer material, but I'm chuffed with it nonetheless!

Thinking about breaking out the old Kinect Sensor for a new project. Haven't used it in a project since 2016's Candlelit Walk when I made a simple oscillating pointcloud with colours matched to depth. It's time to re-Kinect! Cue many technical issues and crying.

If current events have tilted your brainpan toward the gloomy, I highly recommend these epicly chucklesome books written and read brilliantly by Daniel Rigby. Think Hitchhikers Guide meets Dirk Gently meets Doctor Who!
