The Beloved has said, "Right, you're getting the books for Christmas, with Mark's squiggle inside and a personalised inscription. I'll get them on Kindle because it's easier to read the stories to you from a kindle rather than a book."

Double sales for Mark.

This sounds like, "Yes, it will make a good Christmas present for you. Just be patient for a little while longer" :oD

Do you have a rough idea when The End of Gods will be published?

I've added the three books in the series to my Christmas wish list, and The Beloved is wondering when he can order them. :D

Cheese and biscuits, a classic combination.

It was, but its also true in my case. Love Doctor Who, all of the Star Treks, Babylonia 5, etc, but no Star Wars.

I've never seen Star Wars.

Dorothy L Sayer, and hence Lord Peter Wimsey and Harriet Vane would agree with you.

I've found they are so susceptible to the drip of hate from the newspaper, but have recently changed their mind on gay marriage and rights. They spend time with their friend's grandson, his husband & the baby they are adopting. Mam saw they were a couple in love with each other ^ their baby.

I'm having a similar problem with my parents. They read 'The Daily Mail'. It keeps topping up their heads anti-immigrant, anti-gay, anti-trans, anti-compassion crap.

It hurts to hear them spout such unfeeling, uncaring crap.
