My name is Niko & I'm a freelance artist. I love to draw the human form & fantastical characters (OCs or fanart). I'm pretty new to this social media stuff so I'm not great at posting quite yet, but it's so inspiring to be in a space filled w/ such talented & creative people! 😍

American astronomer Annie Jump Cannon was born #OTD in 1863.

Co-credited with the creation of the Harvard Classification Scheme that organizes/classifies stars by their temperature & spectral type. She classified >300,000 stars & her system is still used today.

Saving the squirrel is important.
Not cutting that scene was the right move.
It gives the "He's just a dog."/"But he's out there alone and probably scared" lines more veracity.
We believe in a Superman who cares about Kaijus, squirrels and an unruly dog.
And that he'd turn himself over for his sake.

I just finished a high contrast study of Tom Waits. I listened to his "Mule Variations" and "Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers, Bastards" albums while I drew it. He's a massive creative influence for me.
