Uday & his family are living on the streets in Gaza City where the iof is continuing a ground invasion. They need to get out now but do not have the $ for transportation or a tent. If you have anything you can spare, please help them out. The situation is desperate. Https://www.tinyurl.com/udayfund

Every day Uday and Hamza message me asking why people don’t seem to care anymore, and I try to assure them that people do care, there is just so much need. If you can give anything at all, I promise it makes a difference, even if it’s just letting a scared teenager know they aren’t forgotten ❤️‍🩹

If you can spare anything, my friend Uday (Odai) in Gaza is desperate. His family has no food. Adults have been going without for days, and now there is nothing for the kids either tinyurl.com/udayfund

More info on Yana’s account but the TL;DR is we got another cat. His name is Wayne. Cat intros are DIFFICULT. And both Yana and I have anxiety disorders—cute!

The occupation has broken the ceasefire agreement and are once again blocking aid from entering the strip. 18 year old Uday (also spelled Odai), the oldest in his family, is tasked with the enormous responsibility of trying to get their needs met. Any amount helps ❤️💚🤍🖤 tinyurl.com/udayfund

I hate to throw shade at a small business but I ordered the mac and cheese and was served this instead. The three year old server assured me “it’s ok, she wanted to be eaten” but I’m still alarmed.

I am at FedEx. They are selling exactly 5 books and the selection is so bonkers. Two are journals, two are self help books, and the fifth is John Stamos’s memoir.

If you don’t understand why people are anarchists who don’t believe in electoral politics I recommend sitting in on a city council hearing. It’s honestly mortifying.

Update from Hamza. This is his view sitting in one of the few places he can get internet. No matter how many images I see, the sheer scope of the devastation shocks me. If you’d like to help Hamza and his family rebuild, this is the link: Tinyurl.com/hamzafund

I think it’s important to acknowledge small wins. Extra $10k unlocked for the displaced students fund, thank you! ❤️❤️

Uday (also spelled Odai) is the 3rd Gazan I met—my littlest brother who turned 18 just a few days before the war, & had to become an adult so much faster than is fair. All my Palestinian brothers are so special, but Uday is the most tender ❤️ please help if you can: tinyurl.com/udayfund

After a three hour walk, Hamza (19), the second person I connected with in Gaza many months ago stands in the ruins of his family’s home. He knows the future will be difficult but he sent me this triumphant video upon his return. You can help Hamza and his family of 8 here: tinyurl.com/hamzafund

Abood is the first person in Gaza I connected with thru a mutual aid project called #fridaysforfalestin. I have talked to him every week since then. He is a sweet, smart young man, and he needs $ to return north. PayPal takes the fewest fees, if you can spare a few bucks send to [email protected]
