Whenever I rewatch Gurren Lagann I'm always shocked by how *weak* Kamina is. He has so much bravado and basically everyone is taken in by his act but I don't think he ever wins a fight with his own power? Any time drills are involved it's all Simon. He is truly a bard rather than a fighter
