The experience should be better since the patch resolves some of the issues I had, but the last portion of the game pre-patch really made me not want to touch it again.

Honestly the best thing to do is just try to make it look decent on your monitor and it should look fine on most people's displays.

When it comes to both visuals and audio, you will never be able to make everything look or sound the best for everyone.

Thankfully this hasn't really been an issue since I usually make games slightly darker for myself anyway, but Amnesia ended up being the opposite and I was confused about why it looked so dark on stream.
