In 2020, Keir Starmer said he would abolish the House of Lords. He has just given peerages to 30 of the most dishonest people in the Labour party as a reward for toppling Jeremy Corbyn. Starmer's government is a corrupt cesspit. It is built on a foundation of lies and betrayal.

Bought OTD in 1971: UK 2xLP of Flamingo and Teenage Head. The latter was a Huge album for me, with the title track - ‘I’m a child of atom bombs’- some charming blues/ rockabilly tropes, a Randy Newman cover and two brilliant side closers: Yesterday’s Numbers and the accelerated Whisky Woman

On this day 88 years ago, Robert Johnson was finishing his first recording session (he only managed two). Between Nov 23 and 25, 1936, in room 414 of the Gunter Hotel in San Antonio, he laid down 16 tunes, inc Terraplane Blues and Cross Road Blues. Rock n roll was born, history was made.
