Stickler #665 woven lace. my weft yarn was inspired by the colour of alder bark in winter. It's washing out the green more than enhancing it, and I don't think relaxed warp floats will save it. #handdyedyarn #weaving #inspiredbytheforest #stricklerincolor

My ritual powerdrone band, Thrums, has a gig next Saturday, for the Spring Equinox. We are doing a piece combining lace pattern weaving, drumming to the lace pattern, algorithmic noise and video. It will be drum and lace. I am weaving Strickler pattern 665.
