One last one to ride out #Gravehaunt this year Scream VI (2023). Let's do this.
November 1, 2025 at 3:44 AM
Happy Halloween everyone! It's the last night of #Gravehaunt and we've got 2 more Scream movies to get though. First up is the 5th film just called Scream (2022). And I need to point out that it's odd to drop the number when a sequel released a year later goes right back to numbering again.

One more movie for #Gravehaunt tonight before I can sleep. The last of the original run Scream 4 (2011). A sizable 11 year gap between this one and the previous.
October 31, 2025 at 6:35 AM
#Gravehaunt Night 30 continues with Scream 3 (2000). Williamson is replaced by Ehren Kruger as writer so I'm interested to see how that might change things or not.
October 31, 2025 at 4:30 AM
#Gravehaunt Night 30 continues with Scream 2 (1997). While I did have the killer spoiled before watching the previous film I get to go into this one fresh so that will be a interesting change.

Tthe penultimate night of #Gravehaunt brings me to my franchise deep dive this year, Scream (1996) and its sequels. After covering Halloween, Friday the 13th, & Nightmare on Elm St previously, this is a natural next step. Unfortunately Scream 7 isn't out yet so I'll have to come back next year.

Getting close to the end of #Gravehaunt this year, but before I start the 2 part finale tomorrow we've got 1 more random film from the list. Tonight it's Last Shift (2014). I can't even recall why this went on the list, but that's never stopped me before.
October 30, 2025 at 2:11 AM
Sometimes for #Gravehaunt a movie I know will be bad will go on the list solely because I need to see exactly how bad. For night 28 that tradition continues with Slender Man (2018).
October 29, 2025 at 2:37 AM
Night 27 of #Gravehaunt the film is The Frighteners (1996). It's a horror comedy directed by Peter Jackson and starring Michael J Fox. Apparently a box office bomb which is probably why I hadn't heard of it, because this sounds like it's squarely in my wheelhouse.
October 28, 2025 at 2:02 AM
Alright back at it tonight with #Gravehaunt Night 26 with Mandy(2018). I no pretty much nothing about this other than it stars Nick Cage, which while that doesn't always mean good, it does usually mean interesting.
October 27, 2025 at 2:28 AM
Alright, it's Friday night and I have to work early tomorrow morning unfortunately. So I'm grabbing a quick one tonight for #Gravehaunt Hell of a Summer (2023). Finn Wolfhard co-wrote and co-directed this, which will be interesting. It's also a breezy 88 minutes.
October 25, 2025 at 12:38 AM
#Gravehaunt Night 23 begins now. The dice have chosen The Omen (1976). I'm always a little nervous to watch a classic like this, especially from this era. When I watched The Exorcist and The Shining they did not live up to the hype. But clean slate here, let's go.
October 24, 2025 at 12:22 AM
#Gravehaunt Night 22 Night of the Zoopocalypse (2025). I like to do 1 spooky animated movie every year but it's getting harder to find ones I haven't seen already. Next year I'll have I Am Frankelda (assuming it's streaming stateside) and Laika's upcoming Wildwood as options though.
October 23, 2025 at 1:43 AM
Forgot to post beforehand but I had my movie night group tonight so #Gravehaunt won't have a liveblog. The movie tonight was Captain Clegg (1962). I saw this pitched as a swashbuckler horror movie, but probably not quite a good description.
October 22, 2025 at 3:06 AM
Back to #Gravehaunt tonight. For Night 20 I'm going to see if The Blob (1988) is any better than the original. And considering that the '58 version is probably at the bottom of the 15 films I've watched this month it would be hard for the remake to do worse.
October 21, 2025 at 12:16 AM
Alright time for Night 18 of #Gravehaunt this evening's film is The Blob (1958). It was actually the 1988 remake that came up when I rolled for the movie, but I figured I should watch the original first. And this year's marathon has been pretty heavy on recent films anyway.
October 19, 2025 at 2:40 AM
#Gravehaunt Night 17 the movie is Dangerous Animals (2025). From the trailer and description this like if Captain Quint from Jaws was a serial killer. That's definitely an interesting idea, and I love Jaws, so high hopes for this one.
October 18, 2025 at 2:51 AM
The movie the dice have chosen tonight for #Gravehaunt does actually have me anxious. After Midnight (2019) is billed as a 'romantic monster movie' that follows a 30-something man after the end of a 10 year relationship. And when this film came out that was an accurate description of me.
October 17, 2025 at 1:57 AM
Alright after winding down a bit after tonight's shoot I'm ready for #Gravehaunt Night 15. Tonight's film is Ghostwatch (1992). Unique in that this is probably the first TV movie I've watched for Gravehaunt, but It's also clear that it needed to be released that way for artistic reasons.
October 16, 2025 at 2:38 AM
It's time for night 14 of #Gravehaunt and the dice have chosen Until Dawn (2025) for this evening. While I'm a bit familiar with the game it's related to, I'm much more familiar with The Quarry it's spiritual successor. So probably not many direct comparisons in tonight's live blog
October 15, 2025 at 1:59 AM
Had a busy weekend so I'm currently down 3 movies, but I have a full franchise watch through planned that will take or that. But for Night 13 of #Gravehaunt I'm watching Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022).
October 14, 2025 at 1:16 AM
I've got a very early day tomorrow, so for Night 10 of #Gravehaunt I'm grabbing one of the shortest films on my list, Anaconda (1997) at 89 minutes. I remember a big marketing push for this when it came out, although I was definitely too young to be in the target demo.
October 11, 2025 at 12:45 AM
#Gravehaunt Night 9 is Sinister (2012). Not really familiar with the premise of this one, but it's got a bunch of the same people that made The Black Phone which I really enjoyed, so I'm excited.
October 10, 2025 at 1:58 AM
Alright it's time for night 8 of #Gravehaunt . Tonight the dice have chosen Evil Dead (2013). I'm a fan of Sam Raimi ,so I've seen the original trilogy. I know he and Bruce are producers on this, but no hint of any other involvement. No clue what to expect, but going in open-minded.
October 9, 2025 at 2:03 AM
Movie night group is tonight so no live blog for #Gravehaunt night 7. But I'll post some final thoughts here when we finish. This month's theme was Hammer Horror so the group's watching The Quatermass Xperiment (1955)
