Not to diminish that we are also a capitalist society. It’s not just the US gov that suppresses info. Media company owners REGULARLY suppress info that is bad for business
All US media is state run media. The US gov can (and regularly does) tell any media company to take something down bc of “national security”
Even if tiktok comes back it will be state run media.
