Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day and marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. 6 million Jews and many others were exterminated, including up to 15,000 gay men.
It's important that we remember our past, especially now that we in the US seem to be on the brink of repeating it.

The past two days I’ve been trying to work out the clog in our bathroom sink.
I’ve tried every non-extreme method I could find.
Now it is maintenance’s problem… which they will probably be by on Monday since we don’t need the water to do things this weekend. Clearly.

Yesterday was a rough day.
Had a conversation with my dad that caused some pain from childhood to surface. This also let me know that I was mired too much in recent events.
Putting my focus on education, joy, and skill building is what I’m doing for a while so I can heal.
