Six of the last seven years, I have gone to friends' houses for NYE. The other year, I was at my parents' house. This year, I'm at home with some pizza & sparkling grape juice, I might go to bed before midnight, and I think I'm ok with it. Is this what getting old feels like?

I am wearing fleece-lined sweatpants, an oversized hoodie, and warm socks, and I am still cold. I don't know how people like this season.

I was insanely productive today. Re-organized my closet, cleaned out and re-organized the fridge, did a little meal prep, and went for a three mile run (which I didn't realize how much I needed that).
Maybe I should get 8 hrs of sleep more often.

Not even 11 am yet and I've already gotten five calls from people regarding their mortgages. This is supposed to be my catch-up day! I didn't consider this many people would be thinking about their mortgages the day after Christmas.

I don't know if I just don't have as much PTO as other companies or if everyone else just saves their PTO to use over Christmas while I use mine in the spring/summer/fall, but I am in the minority of people working the next two weeks.

I haven't had Arby's in forever, but I had a craving for curly fries tonight. I forgot that Arby's shakes are incredibly underrated.

I don't think I'm going to be able to avoid the store completely today, which is annoying because if you've ever worked retail, you know the Saturday before Christmas is the worst day of the year for shopping.

This online discourse about the Bengals not clearing snow off the seats is so dumb.
There are a lot of things you could say about the #Bengals being cheap. Clearing snow off individual seats, with a short turnaround time, isn't one of them. Aisles were clear, that's what really matters.
