There’s no obit yet, but RIP to ethnomusicologist Terry Miller, who studied northeastern Thai music in the 1960s and published a lot of crucial stuff.

I’m so sorry to hear that he passed. He was a decent human being and his work was important — I know young Thai music historians who still read it.
