Let us read the opening of the Wikipedia for “denazification”: “Denazification was opposed by the new West German government of Konrad Adenauer… On the other hand, in the Soviet occupation zone and later East Germany, denazification was considered as a critical element”

I have a slightly more favorable take on the dispensaries (at least the legal ones) tho the density of them seems insane/unsustainable. But I abhor the “smoke shops” (like the one next door to this). They have such a negative atmosphere: all empty space, pipes, weirdly legal drugs, and no customers

Absolutely inexplicable to me that this place hasn’t been shut down for obvious illegal activity, especially after it suffered what seemed like a smash and grab attack a few months back

I think that’s the one that was a psychic/ crystal shop for about a month before being an empty store front with just a ping pong table in it for many months (that had seemed like people were in there playing/moving stuff around on occasion but I never saw anyone inside)

2) even if in a materialist sense there is an equality between the two forms of labor, imo, people have some feeling that art, even if stilted through capitalist production, is a communication between humans and AI production of art products feels manipulative, unnatural, or missing some point.

I think the divide stems from 1) sense that AI that creates artistic output has been built upon stolen property, works that artists think they had some right to ownership over. While something like code rarely (if ever?) has that same longstanding cultural/legal relationship with it’s creators
