If you were orbiting Jupiter today, you would see the Earth cross in front of the Sun - a Terrestrial Transit. A tiny speck moving across the face of our star.

IF YOU LOOK UP AT THE STARS TONIGHT YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE JUPITER. IT’S THE BRIGHTEST STAR IN THE SKY.

2025 Galaxy Season went well! Especially with learning to run a new style of scope with a steep learning curve! I will certainly be ready for next year! Once the weather here cooperates I will be on to collecting some fantastic nebulae!✨🔭

This is a new image from #JWST, and is a beautiful example of gravitational lensing.

A cluster of galaxies (Abell S1063, centre) is so massive it distorts spacetime to the point where light from distant galaxies behind bends around it—allowing us to see some of the Universe's most ancient galaxies.

A spiral of stars drifts through the dark, its glow ancient, like a memory unfolding. Red dust wraps its arms, while blue nebulae linger like quiet thoughts. In the silence of space, beauty doesn’t speak—it simply shines.
