Now finished Rosewater - enjoyed it a lot. The pacing and revelations at the end were unexpected (and I’m still trying to decide what to make of Bicycle Girl and her machine) but I liked the structure, ideas, characters, mood… and details, like how and when Wormwood arrived. bsky.app/profile/atep...
Currently reading Rosewater by Tade Thompson. Really enjoying it so far.
Very well-plotted and paced and the main character is understated and fascinating.

I had three “favourite” dumpling places within 5 min of my house, plus another close to work. Could happily sit and eat my own bodyweight in jiaozi in any of them for very little money
