Ha… I didn’t know that Von Neumanns drive to design and build his computer was driven by his fascination about weather forecasting. The idea to be able to predict and control the weather. This was linked to Lorenz’s work on weather systems. Edward Lorenz created Chaos Theory.

If you are finding @jclpcb parts parametric search absolutely rubbish, then try this site. Its pulls the parts catalog and has an accurate search tool. Seems they have way more parts available they their search would lead you to believe.

I saw these at Hardware Pioneers Max in London yesterday. I really liked the concept and if it can be integrated into other feeds of data (ie from Home Assist or others) then it could be a really fun way to visualize the health of your environment.
