Here's the new Compsognathus next to the original from 2018. The original version had the poor animal dead in the Solnhofen lagoon, but the ending to this Dinovember is a happier one, with it alive and well, and with a more natural-looking appearance.

Here's the new Giganotosaurus next to the 2018 original. All the new carcharodontosaurid research since the original has hopefully translated well into this.

Here's the new Tyrannosaurus next to the 2018 original. The original juvenile was based on 'Jane", but now that specimen is officially lumped into Nanotyrannus, the modern version is based largely on the 'Teen Rex' specimen.

Here's the new Centrosaurus next to the 2018 original. The original accidentally used a subadult specimen as a basis for the older scarred male, something happily corrected in the glow up.

Here's the new Deinonychus next to the 2018 original. Think it's safe to say that my attempts at feathers have greatly improved over the years.

Here's the new Spinosaurus next to the 2018 original. Weird to think the original was done before the discovery of this animal's weird paddle tail.

Here's the new Barosaurus next to the 2018 original. Yet another sauropod influenced by new data about the crazy and incredibly variable skin and scales now known from these guys.

Here is the new Parasaurolophus next to the 2018 original. Gone is the quite frankly bizarre soft-tissue extensions on the crest that were speculated around 2018.

Here's the new Microraptor next to the 2018 original. I remember being up until 3am finishing the old version, glad this wasn't the case for the new one.

Here's the new Pachycephalosaurus next to the 2018 original. The original was drawn around the time the study of pachycephalosaur dentition was published indicating an omnivores diet for these dinosaurs.
