I zoomed in, added a bit of contrast, and went back and forth over the first few seconds to show how the ground around the vents bulges outward before the lava breaks through and blasts it apart. Remarkable stuff. Nature is neat. #Kilauea

Y'all the latest episode of the #Kilauea #eruption just went CRAZY. It looks like pressure built up enough to explode out the ground around the two existing vents (first few seconds), leading to a massive surge in lava fountaining.🌋🤯

I don’t know what it is. But #StangerThings. Y’all. It feels like a chore to get through. I mean. 5’s first 4 doesn’t suck. But it’s not great. Like S4. It’s just fine/meh. I’ll just be glad it’s over on new year’s and that’s that. Happy memories, yes. Great show at times, yes. But it’s kinda meh.

Wish I had some fun weather related news for Atlanta. But alas, I don't. Warm this week. Maybe much needed rain, but December is looking very ridge-y and terrible.
Will we see any wintery fun? Who knows. Nothing anytime soon. But I guess there is some hope if we get good snow cover north? #gawx
