"Liquefied natural gas (LNG) heavy truck sales are declining in 2025 as LNG’s cost advantage over diesel falls and competitive battery-electric alternatives gain ground."

LNG is too expensive.

Sellers can't do anything about that.

Buyers can.

And do.

This feels like how most people view climate change: the world is burning. There is an urgent need to move away from neoliberal ideals and the constant pursuit of growth. #COP #climatechange

It's high time we implement regulations on the sizes of cars on Irish roads. Each year, vehicles continue to grow larger while our roads remain narrow and often poorly maintained. It's crucial that we address this issue to ensure safety and functionality on our roads.

Teenagers have become an issue in many rural towns and villages of Ireland, such as Ballina. However, often, the source of this issue is the lack of dedicated space for teenagers to make recreational use of it. Communities must develop with all age groups included.

One of the major issues I have found when suggesting new services in rural and regional towns is the mindset that public services need to make a profit. This mindset is part of neoliberal thinking, which we need to get rid of to properly service our rural and regional towns.

As the need for transport services grows, one project which would significantly improve the mobility of the western region of Ireland is the Western Rail Corridor.
This would allow cars and trucks to be removed from the roads, helping with the need to reduce emissions.

NEW: Electric cars are expected to reach up to 24% market share in 2025, giving carmakers a clear path to comply with EU clean car rules, new analysis shows.

With von der Leyen and the German gov ruling out delays to the EU’s 2035 and 2025 targets, it’s time to go all in on BEVs.

6 million people in the UK are at risk of serious health concerns due to ultrafine particles from planes.

UFPs from planes are emitted at high altitude but also at take-off and landing, meaning residents living near airports are particularly affected.
