PSA, if, like me, you have a sizeable pile of war dolly paints, especially if they’re Citadel ones, don’t forget to periodically clean the lids out and make sure they all close properly, to maximise the life of your expensive paints. That was a fun, if mucky, couple of hours!

Next print! I’m now about 80% of the way through printing a 40K bolt pistol! Being able to print full sized props is awesome.

Done! Just under 20 hours of printing and I have enough crates to store all my regularly used paints! Much better than the shoe boxes I was using previously! Just need to sort the paints now by colour to make them easier to find!

OK, possibly the best use for the printer so far is printing custom storage for all my stuff. Printed off a crate for storing my paints (which currently live in shoe boxes). Immediately fired off another of these, and need to do a couple more to hold all my regularly used paints!

Timed out, just, at 11 hours (about 75km). The weather was ATROCIOUS, so I’ll take that, not the PB I was hoping for, but not my worst result by any stretch. Had to scream “old fat bastard, get you big fat lazy arse in gear, NOW!!!” At myself to make it round loop 10.

Lovely 6km run to town to get a train at shat o’clock this morning. Even managed to grab an earlier train! Love seeing the city in the early hours in autumn. Now to Manchester for some hot #umbraco action!

My daughter has been practicing horror makeup for her Halloween costume, I’m really sad we didn’t have YouTube when I was a kid. She spent an hour watching some videos and then did this with PVA glue, toilet roll, standard makeup and some fake blood.

My daughter has made a creepy Halloween wreath using an ivy ring, some distressed foam flowers and eyes. I think it’s come out really well! Then last night she wrote three chapters of a very creepy gothic style story. She’s definitely our child 😂
