I accidentally attended a screening of Die Another Day for the deaf/hard of hearing. Didn’t read the info properly.

Correct! Shaka revolutionised the Zulu army by switching from assegai-style throwing spears to iklwa stabbing spears. Incidentally, the name comes from the sound the spear made when being withdrawn from the victim’s side. 🤢

I agree with this 100%.
And of course just to underline their ignorance, Zulus wouldn’t hurl iklwas, as they were short stabbing spears rather than throwing spears. But that would be the incorrect image these type of people would have.
