Thank you to everybody at @animalactivism.bsky.social, @caftusa.bsky.social & more for your amazing work.

Never listen to anyone who says protests are just “virtue signaling.” With strategic planning and smart targets, a handful of determined activists can bring massive insitutions to their knees.

Animal fur is the most polluting textile by far (even more so than petroleum-based faux fur). 95% of the supply comes from factory farms where wild animals like foxes and minx are confined in cages before being strangled or anally electrocuted. This victory is a significant setback for the industry.

Some good news for a change: thanks to a sustained pressure campaign by grassroots activists, fashion conglomerate Condé Nast will now longer feature animal fur in its publications — including Vogue, the most influential fashion magazine in the world. www.cnn.com/2025/10/06/s...

Many happy returns to revered and best-selling #author #AnneRice, born this day in 1941 who gave the world #TheVampireChronicles beginning with the iconic #InterviewWithTheVampire. She sadly passed away in 2021.

Again, your “99%” claim is simply not true. The meat industry is responsible for about 20% of emissions any given year and is the leading cause of deforestation, land use, and terrestrial habitat loss. Check out the link I sent in the other reply for more info

We can fight both the fossil fuel and the meat industries while recognizing that consumption patterns in wealthy countries contribute to environmental degradation at the expense of the global south. This is what it means to take an intersectional approach.

Meat is a leading emissions source – but few outlets report on it, analysis finds
Sentient Media reveals less than 4% of climate news stories mention animal agriculture as source of carbon emissions

Globally, consumers in the Global North, especially the US, *are* the big polluters.

The richest 10% of humans cause almost half of GhG emissions from consumption. That includes virtually everyone in the Global North above the poverty line. Including probably you.

The new EAT-Lancet report is out and I wrote about it -- and also what I saw at Climate Week NYC: An environmental movement still cozying up to Big Meat, and still unafraid to confront scientific consensus on food, agriculture, and livestock.

It's one thing to sit in your favorite armchair and read about Colonel Benedict Arnold's grueling march across the wilds of Maine to seize the fortress of Quebec City from the British – it's another to strap your hiking boots on, hop in a boat, and try to do it yourself. youtu.be/pK2Ol6RfxkM

What a deranged meltdown.

It’s statistically rare for trans women to be perpetrators of sexual violence — they are in fact four times more likely to be *victims* of it! williamsinstitute.law.ucla.edu/press/ncvs-t...

Like the mass murder of bison on the Plains or the clearing of the Eastern Woodlands for animal agriculture, colonialism annihilates and replaces ecosystems as well as peoples, polities, and cultures.

Coming soon on Atun-Shei Films, an epic historical adventure like you've never seen...

To commemorate its 250th anniversary, my buddy Benton and I traced the most difficult part of the route of Benedict Arnold's 1775 invasion of Quebec (to disastrous and hilarious consequences).

The extinction impact of the beef industry is immense. Eating even a little bit multiplies a diet’s impact on endangered species.

In this video, I talk about how the dairy industry contributes to the ecological polycrisis, how dairy patriarchy hijacked mammalian fluid bonding at the expense of our biosphere, and what we can do to fight back (we will wean the world).

When you turn on YouTube's new "restricted mode" on my channel, most of my videos disappear.

But not the one with graphic descriptions of slavers cannibalizing a captive, or the one with uncensored slaughterhouse footage.

Isn't this supposed to be about protecting children or something?
