The people who thought Biden’s student loan forgiveness was a power-mad usurpation of executive authority are awed and dazzled by Trump allowing the world’s richest man to seize everyone’s financial info and unilaterally line-item veto entire agencies out of existence.

You only celebrate . . .

This Christianity Today article about Musk's illegal decimation of USAID, and its catastrophic impacts, is very, very good. Republicans need to hear from evangelicals and Catholics who aren't NAR or theobros

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

I can’t actually says the words I think about this, suffice to call it despicable poison.
Rep. Claudia Tenney says there should be conditions on federal disaster relief to the "Marxist regime" in California and adds, "California is a disaster. Those same people weren't concerned about the people in North Carolina or the people in Florida who we've tried to help."

COVID really shattered a lot of my beliefs about people. In particular, I had always thought that while people can believe outlandish things about stuff that does not affect them personally, they get real when things hit close to home.

Oops.
It is truly wild that it is estimated that more than 20 million people died of Covid and the prevailing vibe is that the world overreacted. That is an astonishing toll! More people died of Covid in the US than in the Civil War. www.pbs.org/newshour/hea...
5 years after it appeared, things we know and still don't know about COVID
Five years after the virus that causes COVID emerged in China it still holds some mysteries.
