macron could emulate him if he wanted, french constitutional counterpowers are even less effective than american. Not to mention, if macron actually was a wannabe dictator trump would love him, not despise him.

i also know Iranians that, beyond the I/P conflict, are grateful to Netanyahu for his strikes against the regime's officials. One told me, Netanyahu is an asshole but he will have supporters in Iran his whole life for that alone.

honestly I would be surprised if there was not a program ongoing already. Ukraine has uranium deposits, nuclear reactors, and the US has made clear long ago how little they will do against russia.

there is a timeline where Trump is not enamoured with putin, and he realises defeating russia would allow him to mold it into an american protectorate, like Japan after WW2.

if the leak's goal was to gauge the US' reaction, then they have their answer- Trump will never push back against Russia's demands himself. No wonder putin wants even more than their maximalist demands.
