Hardly a surprise. Any ‘agreement’ with Trump is just the start of attempts to extort more, as his various tariffs on Canada & Mexico have shown. In that respect, his approach to negotiations is similar to Putin’s. Deals are essentially worthless.

So tired of all of this. The US is practically openly hostile to Ukraine (and Europe) now, and for whatever reason keeps cozying up to russia, while the American people - who statistically dislike russia - mostly just seem to accept it. For fuck’s sake, guys. What a disgrace.

“It’s increasingly clear the Americans don’t care about the European position. They say the Europeans can do whatever they want.”

I hate how every nation is living down to its stereotype because I’m trained to look for complexity in things, yet the USA is run by a caricature of crony capitalism that Soviet propaganda would consider too unsubtle, Russia is run by a Bond villain, the UK is speedrunning Children of Men, etc.

China has now cut the cheapest Ukraine's supply chains for drones components.

How is Ukraine supposed to win a war against Russia, Iran, North Korea, and now China, alone? When is the EU going to act like the allies they claim themselves to be?

You challenged Europe to step up. You challenged us to step up on Ukraine, on defense spending, on European security,” British Defence Secretary John Healey said. “And I say to you that we have, we are and we will further."
Europe and the United Kingdom are taking a leading role on defense and supporting Ukraine, just as the United States has demanded, British Defence Secretary John Healey told his American counterpart Pete Hegseth yesterday.
Europe is doing what you wanted, UK tells US defense boss
