Kae's dreaming about a fateful encounter many years ago that started the whole mess between him and Kajo. This one's just a tiny bit horny 🌶

”What are you doing?”

He shed the towel on the edge of the pool and took the last few steps calmly, smiling as he met Kajo’s eyes. He felt perfectly at ease despite the heat rushing to his face.

”What does it look like?” he said. ”I’m joining you.”

The droplets clinging to their hair could have been crystals. The water was shallow, only reaching up to their waist where they sat in the shelter of the willows, and Kae had to pause to take in the sight despite the urgent pull in his blood. As gorgeous as ever, all long limbs and soft, supple curves, naked as the day they were born.

Their lips parted in what might have been surprise, then pursed shut as they took in the look on his face, and Kae knew they had realised.

”I think not. Leave,” they said.

There was no force behind the words, no real intent. Kae waded closer, and Kajo made no attempt to stop him, their eyes watching his every move.

”I know you’ve been watching me, too,” he said. He was leaning over them, gazing into those inhuman eyes like wanting to drown in them. They pulled him in like a black hole. ”We could, if you just said the word.”

”It’s improper.” Their voice was just a hot murmur against his mouth.

”Hardly, if we both want it.”

He cupped their face with both hands and closed the distance between them.

That first touch of his lips against theirs was all it took. He straddled their lap as Kajo kissed him back eagerly, the sharp intakes of breath between them turning more hungry, more desperate by the minute. He recalled hands on every inch of his skin, recalled the taste of their mouth and the fumbling steps back to the house. Who lead, who followed was lost to time; his memories were coloured with skin, limbs, and pleasure until the awful edges between them had melted away into nothingness.

He’d never known the very depths of mortal hunger until he’d finally gotten to eat his fill.
