William Saliba (55) completed more passes in that first half than Crystal Palace (51).

Saka was an unused sub in the 2020 FA Cup final when he was two months older than Nwaneri is now.

Nwaneri will turn 19 in March and already has more Arsenal appearances (50) than Saka (42) when he turned 19.

Nwaneri has much more competition than Saka had.

There's nothing to be concerned about.

If Nwaneri plays 205 more minutes in the league before March, he would have played more minutes than Foden had by his 20th birthday and done it before his 19th birthday.
Nwaneri has now played more minutes in the league than Foden and Saka combined did by their 18th birthday.
If Nwaneri plays 30 more minutes in the league before April, he would have played more minutes than Foden and Saka combined did by their 18th birthday.

Another tough watch

Another ‘grind it out’ win

Another Saturday night that ends with Arsenal sat atop the Premier League.

Merry Christmas

Arsenal are the best team in the world (at conceding one-fifth-of-one-xG and still managing to stress us the fuck out)

i honestly feel like this logic is just an extension of what I'd call the Default Billionaire Mindset, which is that anyone anywhere owning anything at all is an act of theft
Trump declares he is enacted a blockade on Venezuela until they "return the oil, land, and assets they've stolen from the United States."

This gaslighting is even worse than Bush demanding that Saddam Hussein "disarm his WMDs or the United States will invade," knowing full well Hussein had no WMDs.

If the intention was to boil some rival piss with an OG from the keeper, and an added time OG winner,

Then consider it BOILED 💅🏻

As with Ethan Nwaneri, Myles Lewis-Skelly's time will come. They're ahead of schedule.

Win against Kairat seals top spot even if we lose at Inter beforehand. No reason not to go full rotation (which should still mean a strong team anyway) for both of the remaining games.

Hincapié didn’t make a bad decision at the end after sweeping up. His 94th-min steps stuttered and his touch went flying.

When a player’s touches get oddly bouncy, there’s usually one (1) reason. Same reason White carried one out alone.

They don’t fully have their legs.

How are Villa complaining about these fouls when they've been late into challenges all half.

Liverpool spending a billion pounds, paying no attention to midfield or defense, and then watching it repeatedly blow up in their face, is both hilarious and just.

Anyway, I guess the fact we scored a couple open play goals mean this point is somehow worth more than all the points we've won from dead ball situations?

Horrible way to drop points but they're a good side and we should have a lot of players returning after the international break. As long as those players do return and we don't lose anyone, the run we've been on lately gave us the leeway to drop a couple of points.

Don't blame Arteta for not making changes yesterday. Tough, intense, physical away game and our only options were players who are rusty and kids. One moment pans out differently nobody questions sticking with what we had on the pitch.
