The virtual power plants don't replace the need for traditionally generated power, but they do reduce electrical draw and transmission costs by efficiently storing and distributing power generated locally from solar panels (for example). No magic needed 👍

Yes it is, and effort is made to make voting as accessible as possible.
Elections are held on weekends to maximise ability to get out and vote.
Voting stations (and mail-in voting) is available prior to polling day for those who won't be able to make it to a polling place on election day itself.
