We discussed the ethics of using AI, specifically whether a journalist is spreading the truth or misinformation when reporting on fake AI-generated images that impact people or individuals, especially when these images are presented in a way that makes them appear real. #UWJ201 #301

One of this week's readings mentioned that people who trust the government the most are the least likely to believe in conspiracy theories. I agree with this idea. What do you think causes people to lose trust in the government? #UWJ201 #301

The readings this week talked about media outlets aligning with political views - social media enforces your beliefs. Does this make you stay away from certain sources? Do you think it should? #UWJ201 #301

In class we looked at the strategies that advertisers use to get views. This reminded me of Ye and the Super Bowl ad and his ad. He nothing on costs and made 20 million in 1 day. It stuck in my mind due to how plain and unusual it was. Which Super Bowl ad impacted you the most and why? #UWJ201 #301

When I read "Who Owns the News". It was sickening to see the role and impact of money, corporations, and celebrity names affecting the integrity of our sources of news and how that in turn shapes our beliefs. How as a consumer can we combat these entities from doing this in the future?
