It shouldn’t matter what the kids read, just that they read. My son loved graphic novels (still does), but he read Jurassic Park at age 10 because he loved dinosaurs. He’s 43 now and is still a voracious reader. And he has a comic book collection that rivals some comic book stores.

Northern White Faced owl. It does that as a defense measure from larger predators…so it blends into the tree to look like a branch (according to Google).

The last year, 95% of all leads came from her events! She also is intent on showing ROI for them. When she met her new boss (before the buy out was announced) he told her that his biggest problem was showing ROI. She told him, “no it’s not let me show you how I do it” and showed him her platform.

He told her that the company (international mega company) had been looking at 3 other companies until they stopped by her booth at a big event. They were impressed with the organization, presentation and people and decided right then to offer to purchase. She’s now with the new company.

They were an early start up in the data organization space, so they got some good clients up front (plus a good amount of investors based on their previous startup). They were actually bought out in June. Daughter had just given notice and the COO called her in. 1/2

My boss and his husband only adopt senior small dogs. They almost always have 3. When one crosses, they wait a couple of weeks, then go to the shelter and adopt another one. Nothing but love to give from all of them.

My daughter walked into a company (she does corporate event marketing) and asked, “what’s your target client?” The CRO and CMO went, “what? What do you mean?” She said she knew she had her work cut out for her right then.

He drove it from Austin, Texas to Tucson, AZ on 2 tanks of gas…and the tank was about 10 gallon.

There used to be a German company called DKW. It was subsumed into Audi. They didn’t make electric cars, but they had what they called a 3+2=6 engine. 2 cylinder, 2 stroke. It had a “free wheeling” device that allowed the car to determine if it used 1, 2 or all 3 cylinders. My Dad had 1.
