Working on customizable icons for players to use during duels and I've got this guy as an option. I look for old images that have a whimsical element and I tend to find lots of good stuff

Added a nice little card flip effect whenever you draw cards! This is in 2D so it's actually a "fake" card flip, but it looks real and will even more so when you consider lighting + shaders. Entirely done in code through Godot's Tweens, which makes every part of the animation customizable

Sneak peak of a CPU Personality in MANCY. Every enemy type has their own personality that determines their style when dueling and, for some of them, when building their own decks. They have favorite cards, traits, most hated cards, and many other surprises in store

Placeholder art working as a source of inspiration on this one 😂

One of my more out there designs for a card element, but I'm very fond of it. I do a lot of mixing real world textures with digital elements, so I'm often on the lookout for interesting looks like this. This texture is from a series of 19th century French wallpapers that I found beautiful

Still working with card design bases. I'm playing with the colors, border, and outlines, but I'd love some feedback/advice on any element of the card

Despite the huge problems, I've been having a fun time with The Bazaar since it released F2P. I've been watching Northernlion play it for like 3 months now, and actually it's more fun to play than watch 😅 prepare yourself for a torrent of screenshots

First 10 win against people, Race Carl is good!

Wow this project is amazing! This is their dragging math, and I think it's pretty similar to what you're describing. One thing that surprised me is they don't have anything that follows the camera. I'm always trying to make sure things 'stick' to the camera, but I guess that's not necessary if...

A background I made for a game jam a few months back. There was a simple time system and this was for the start of a new day. I made it by editing this public domain image to have a more dramatic lighting effect, then applying a posterization effect to it. I really like the way the sky turned out!

This was a very early design of a card style I made. Some of the elements are total placeholders (the numbers), but the style is in the direction I'm going for

A screenshot of what I'm working on at the moment! I keep playing with different ideas of what it is, but my goal is to settle down, make the prototype, then play with the concepts. So for now it's a UI RPG where you're getting stronger to defend your town from a creature that awakens once a year

Trying to finish something playable for my first game jam of the month, and I thought this was cool! Not what I expect the player to do in this sequence, but I like how it looks

Made a robot in blender today for this week's jam game! I have some vibes coming together here

Considering 3D for this first jam game in Godot, but as I play with textures I'm realizing I may not know enough about 3D going in to complete something in a week. Pausing on my decision to continue with 3D or scrap and return to 2D

I can hear this title screen! Wanted to post the Doom PSX screen but there aren't many good images of it

Going through a list of bot accounts and this one cracked me up 😂

Scryfall random gave me this today, surprised I'm not familiar with this card. The power level is really low, but this kind of beater is really up my alley! I prefer this kind of gameplay compared to some of the big creatures of today that usually win the game immediately

Just spent like two hours making this work in the output, now to get it to actually work in the viewport...

My first hosted game jam is now up! I'm challenging myself to make a game a week in January, so I turned my goal into a jam to meet other people like me. Game designers of all kinds and experience levels welcome. There's no ranking, just encouraging and sharing art: itch.io/jam/jamuary25

Made a fugitive profile for my #Lancer character 😁 fun exercise to flesh her out and play with my vision for the aesthetics of the character
