On Monday, I did the hardest thing I’ve ever done: said goodbye to my girlie.

This year was one of my worst. The world flipped upside down. Politics orphaned me. Every agent rejected my sci-fi novel.

But now I have this Xmas message from @scalzi.com whenever I want to give up. Thank you, sir.

I will never forget when my sixth grade social studies teacher called me dramatic.
