I had to go into oncology for an iron infusion yesterday ( we're trying to get my levels up before chemo) after 30 minute observation, I seemed fine, but got home and started feeling feverish, broke out in rash on my face, and itched all over. Back to the ER, bad reaction. Of course 🤷♀️

I'm so impressed with the overall quality of Sprouts Bakery pies. Their pumpkin and apple pies are the real deal, no chemical, funky taste. This is what mine would taste like if I had time to bake this season. I normally do, but sadly, not this year. Happy Thanksgiving Eve, everyone🦃🥧

Met such a cute little dog at the local pet food store this morning, got lots of kisses, and she got tons of pets from me. Unfortunately, her owner was one of the most odious women I've met. 🙄

My oncologist said that I'm able to go the route of oral chemo tablets (Xelda), 14 days on, 7 days off, then IV chemo twice a week at the infusion center for about 6 months. Stage 2, sig, has not spread. Prayers were answered! I need to get my iron levels up. scheduled for a few infusions first.

PET Scan was the scariest procedure I've had in a while. What was supposed to be a 1 hour process took about 4 hours. They couldn't get an IV line started, called for help from ER, took guy 5 seconds. One hour w/ infusion, forever in that machine, in by 11:30, out at 3:30. I'm exhausted.
