I remember when JJ Abrams was given a shot at the #StarTrek & #StarWars franchises based on his massive TV hit "Lost." In my opinion, that didn't work out well. Now, on the heels of "Dungeons and Dragons," we have the same behavior. deadline.com/2025/11/star...

What most critics of #Christianity misses and sometimes even some #Christians, is that a life of faith is not just in the prayers and worship, but in the doing. Feed and clothe the poor and needy or help someone in even the smallest way.

Notice the missing Comics Code Authority stamp. The Authority withheld it because the issue addressed drug abuse. Marvel stood their ground & published the issue anyway. By the time Green Lantern/Green Arrow #85 came out with "Snowbirds Don't Fly" the Authority relented.
Daily '71 read. Peter takes a job with Norman. Aunt May goes to see nudies in Hair. MJ flirts with Peter in front of Harry at her off Broadway debut and Norman becomes Green Goblin again.

Issue 7 was the first back issue X-Men I bought back in the early 1970s. I wish I had all those comic books back, but they're way too expensive now to replace.

I'm reading a time travel (of course) novel right now where the Titanic figures prominently. I've even written my own time travel/Titanic short story (yes, it's published) where the Titanic is actually a "Mecca" for time travelers. I know it's a tragedy, but it's been transformed into legend.
