What are your reading plans? I just started a fantasy audiobook, I have a library loan ending soon, and a library hold just became available. It might be a lot, but since we have a winter storm warning, there might be a lot of time for it too. My e-reader is charged! What about you?

It took me a little longer than expected, since I'm of a mindset that revisions are better done well than fast, but I'm finally done with all the revision rounds for Sanguine Scenario. A double yay, right?
The next stage is the editor while I focus on the cover and other goodies.

When I first wrote book 1, back then titled "By His Will" (from Veranesh's backstage plotting), my beta readers enjoyed it, but they wanted "more." They wanted me to expand on the story, characters, world building... But the book was already very long! This is when my dear friend, Piotr, suggested I split it in two. I thought about it while I worked on other projects, and in the end, I found a good splitting point and rewrote the whole story to work as two books... and a part of the third too, because the events in the first few chapters of book 3 are the last scenes of the original first draft of the book written years earlier.

TIL that By the Pact, my epic fantasy with its implied-only adult scenes and the most gory scene of eye gouging being a whole sentence long is "nsfw 18+ hard content," but if you're looking for 18+ content of either the erotic or gore nature (or both), you'll be very disappointed.

I was considering including reviews and ratings, but with 20 stores and 4 books in the series... this would be hard.

Anniversaries have a way of sneaking up on me, and this one is no different. My debut novel, By the Pact, the first in epic fantasy series was released exactly 5 years (and 1 day) ago. Since then, I finished this series, published another one, and added a standalone to the list.
