I don't know how they could have done it better, but I don't think doing it like this did it any favours. Some of thos snapshots were very short too. I don't even remember many of the dates, and I binged it last evening. We'll see how I think about it once the show ends.

Upon reflecting on this show. I think I was more into their story, because the other one was so chopped up. It felt like watching snapshots of a story, which I don't enjoy much. And my personal pet peeve is the 'six weeks later' type of marking time. feels so lazy in books too.

At least Mayfair witches has a great setting and awesome characters and the history of the witches is also rich and colorful. I want a second season of that one.
It might change with the new season. :) I mean, the new IWTV is going to be great. I can feel it in my bones.

omg why? that show is bad. I hated it. it has no charme, it has bland characters and the mystery isn't even one. god, the MC is aweful and stupid and where are the witches?? and where is the cool stuff from the books?

I read this one and it was good. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
