I see a very annoying scenario happening where the economy the next few months dips as people prepare for the tariffs by pre-buying materials and supplies, only for the tariffs to not get enacted, causing an uptick in economy from less panic and people saying "see, he did make prices go down". Ugh.

I get that people are taking the "I told you so, you voted for this" road to Trump voters when shit starts hitting the fan. I understand completely. But that doesn't change the fact that my parents, who worked hard all their lives, may see their Social Security and Medicare cut despite voting blue.
