It's haunting some of the amazing Dragon Age fan accounts I have found over the years that just sort of stop posting out of nowhere. I hurts my heart cuz I know they put their hearts into these accounts and just vanish. A modern day phenomena that is all too common. 😞

What makes me sad is that there is so much DA art that is so wonderful and it's slowly disappearing. I cherish what I was able to save but I can't even repost most of it because the artists who made have also disappeared and I feel bad about posting without being able to credit properly.

Most of the pre-DAI stuff is ok but they have removed some stuff over the last few years. The DAI pages are ok but hit and miss and the DA-TV is just a mess. It's my understanding is a lot of it's because they had to lock pages/sections from general editing.

Even images. I noticed today I had a stash of DA art and images that you can't find online any longer. I also have a stash of unopened DA store items pre-DAI. I remember I could not GIVE them away at one point. Even the DA Wiki has removed some stuff. Sad.

I was thiiiiis close to putting Fable II or Mass Effect II in there, but I couldn't leave out KotORII—my first real RPG obsession. I still carry a torch for that beautiful, broken game and always will, and I think that says a lot about me. 🔥

Aye that cursed pirate's treasure will separate the big guns from the rest for sure. It can be fairly easy if you go in prepared but the first time with no foreknowledge you're gonna get walloped.
