Democrats are leaving the field to Trump, Miller and others to define Chicago, Portland, DC, etc. Newsom and Pritzker can only do so much especially as they aren't based in DC or NYC where the national press is. Craven Dems are paving the way for autocracy.

Pritzker: "He wants to militarize major cities because he wants us to get used to the idea of troops on the streets. Pritzker/Newsom see it as a defining fact of the moment that Trump is consolidating authoritarian power daily and using it to subjugate Blue America like an enemy nation within. Other Dems should stop the Beltway-speak about Trump laying "traps" for them and engage.

Stephen Miller believes that if he supercharges the debate over Trump's abuses of power with enough propaganda, he can polarize it and force low-info voters to embrace authoritarianism. Pritzker/Newsom have accepted that this requires an information war in response.
