The Last Session vol.2 is about a group of friends who get back to their D&D (Dice & Deathtraps) game after a long time--now with streaming!--and Work Their Shit Out with the help of roleplaying. @mythjae.bsky.social writes another sweet and wholesome story with clear love & knowledge of ttrpgs. 1/3

He says there won’t be any AI-generated content in Divinity — “everything is human actors; we’re writing everything ourselves” — but the creators often use AI tools to explore ideas, flesh out PowerPoint presentations, develop concept art and write placeholder text. The use of generative AI has led to some pushback at Larian, “but I think at this point everyone at the company is more or less OK with the way we’re using it,” Vincke said."

The most beautiful punch right in the gut. Tenderly written with a cast of sweet, relatable characters, and SO wonderfully drawn; @keezyyoung.bsky.social captures emotion and expression brilliantly with stylised, "simple" lines, and there are colour and lettering choices here that are just genius.

The gall!! The story was beautifully structured, the mechanical complexity of time jumps advancing hand-in-hand with the narrative complexity of the plot and character development, and touching on some interesting ideas for both. The voice acting was good, the animations were good (even if the style takes a second to get used to), and the environments were immersive and beautifully done. And the puzzles (because this is still a point & click game) were quite satisfying: never difficult or obscure enough to become frustrating, but always requiring a moment's contemplation, especially with the aforementioned timey-wimey shenanigans coming into play more with every chapter. Over all this was a beautiful, bittersweet, thought-provoking, thoroughly entertaining journey.

When creating print work for a client, you deliver the best quality you can, and then just have to hope the client knows what to do with it. In the case of #AdvX25 I was BLOWN AWAY by the level of execution, from the biggest rollup banner to the smallest badge. Thank you @adventurex.bsky.social!
