Like '19/'20, a quick bonus "prompt" & nod to founder of the feast @louistrations.co.uk for their wonderful calendar! Previously I'd post on 26th, but Cam seems to be in a hurry to her next gig?

Cartoon illustration of my original character Chamomile, with an extra added theme of my own creation based on Louistrations' Apricot Cookie(s)! Advent Calendar for 2025 - Foreshadowing. Detailed Description Follows: Chamomile is in her pyjamas as in the previous picture, but is hurridly running off to the side of the image with a focused expression. She has a shopping bag which seems to have a pear, a feather duster, and other unseen objects in it, having pulled on white one glove with another slung over her shoulder and with a large fluffy collar with a speckled pattern around her neck that she's pulling into place with her free hand. In the background, a large version of Louistrations' Apricot Cookie(s) calendar is just out of view. Louistrations' characters, Apricot, Butter and Almond are nearby still in their outfits from the last images they appeared in from said calendar, watching Cammie leave with a bit of confusion. Signs on the wall point towards the calendar in one direction, and something else in another, but Chamomile's head blocks the view. Oh, and Apricot and Butter appear to have kiss marks on each other's cheeks, but never mind that.

Redraw and partial reimagining of a Charlie Brown comic strip. Charlie Brown hears some commotion nearby, goes over to see Snoopy has decorated his own Christmas tree and he's proud of him. He tells Snoopy he can set it up at his doghouse. He then starts to wonder where Snoopy got the decorations from before he notices that the big tree in the living room is missing almost half of its decorations. My thinking behind this redraw visually was 'higher budget special/ movie' but I had less time to flesh out and fully realise the final idea than I initially planned. The black gutters used in this instance were meant to evoke the feeling of black bars framing the top and bottom of the screen when watching a movie. I knocked this out in around 3 days before the final deadline but all 3 days happened to be workdays and I also had commissions going on in the BG as well so I was really pushing myself; my PC, tablet and even my phone at times were all used interchangeably within any pockets of free time I had via the Clip Studio Paint app's cloud feature to pull off that kind of turn-around time, lol.

Christmas in Caveland (Part 4).
Prehistoric, festive comic with slightly cartoonier-than-usual visuals. Three landscape panels. PANEL 1: Later at night, Ghunki Village is done up in Christmas decorations (really just baubles, tinsel and a single wreath) while the goblin-like creature dresses one of the hut's roof. Laplyn stands by her hastily fixed sleigh with her hood back up, while Firga looks up. We see two cavepeople in the square, one woman looking up horrified. Laplyn: There we go! Took no more than an hour to get it all in order! It all comes naturally to the disheveled critter! All I had to do was give her some decorations from my sack and off she went! Dolling up the whole village! Firga: People are terrified. PANEL 2: We move in closer as a happy Laplyn reaches into her sack, while Firga is looking around, unimpressed. Laplyn: So! Do you understand what Christmas is now? Firga: No. I mean, messy? That’s about all I’m getting from this. PANEL 3: Laplyn drops a gift into Firga's hands, much to her immediate, cartoonishly exaggerated delight, her eyes turning to stars and the background becoming golden. Laplyn: How about now? Firga: WOW YEAH I LOVE CHRISTMAS!! Prehistoric, festive comic with slightly cartoonier-than-usual visuals. Three landscape panels. PANEL 1: It is even later at night and snow is falling. Laplyn is holding the wheel of her rebuilt sleigh (held together with a plaster, tape and staples), now wearing brown gloves, and she is winking happily at Firga. The goblin-like creature beside Laplyn in the sleigh, wearing the tinsel from before. Firga has a hand placed on the front of the sleigh as she speaks with a smile on her face. Laplyn: Well then, this has been a merry time but I must be getting back to my own! Firga: Good thing you didn’t pollute the time stream, huh? Laplyn: Hahaha! Yes PANEL 2: The sleigh flies off to the top right, sparkles emanating from it. Two other cavegirls, Halka and Ashtree, are standing beside Firga, looking up at the departing sleight with curiosity. Firga looks up with a smile. Halka: Who WAS that anyway? Ashtree: Some kind of demon? Firga: Probably. PANEL 3: We see from behind the trio of cavegirls as they wave at the sleigh, which is now quite small in the distant sky. Cavegirls: BYE, DEMON LADY! Laplyn: Ohoho! That’s me! wait
