I always find it hard to explain why this is a good thing. So I will show you in a photo.

This means that people can buy your comics just like they buy movies or songs online and then read them on their E reader. An E reader is a great way to read and collect books. When I read books on a Kobo, it feels like I’m holding the book in my hands or the next best thing

For October I decided to draw one panel of a #comic per day. Here’s what I have so far.
A series of 12 comic panels oeach panel representing a day in the life of. The style is comic art in black-and-white with grey tones. The text reads. OCTOBER DAILY COMICS 202.5. One – grandad doesn’t have much time left. My spirits are lifted by going on a group glow ride. 2. TODAY I GOT THE NEWS. Grandad has passed away during the night… Three – I wonder if I could fly back to Australia for grandad‘s funeral. Please don’t worry about trying to fly over. I would be happy to visit grandpa‘s grave with you next time you can make it. 4-I MADE THE MOST OF THE NICE DAY AND RIDE MY BIKE TO WORK. Five – we dropped off Elliott to the airport for his trip to Mexico. Have a great time. Heather had to work so Zoey and I had a special lunch and then watched a movie. “ I see dead people.” 6-WE MAKE HOMEMADE PIZZA AND WATCH TV. We should choose an episode at random. Seven – late shift tonight. At a time for a bike ride. Eight – Heather and Zoey are off to Winnipeg for Thanksgiving. Have a good time! We wish you could come too. That night, I sit down and try to write some words for grandad‘s funeral. Nine catch up with Graeme. I feel like I’ve lost confidence in myself. You don’t show it. 10 – I feel low energy all day. I go out for after work drinks, but I’m really not in the mood and leave early.

I’ve been quietly working on a little one panel per day exercise. It’s been an interesting way to make diary comics.

A graphic novel series from Quebec, Les Toudroyants was created by author Serge Cloutier and illustrator Christian Daigle. The books are part of the "Jeunesse" (Youth) collection from the publisher Les Éditions du Boréal.

Last month I made some dailies as a little experiment.

How it’s going lately
