Wage data not as available in European football but Palace probably have 3-5 players this year who, individually, have each been paid more than the whole Macclesfield team over the last 3 years combined?

Don't think there's much they can do over the next 2.5 years (that would work) other than hoping for some player development success/riding out being a ~45 win/1st round loss team. They've made too many unforced errors (IQ and Poeltl contracts, throwing away 1sts) and are now stuck with the bill.

They did with Iraq too, where there was a higher base of popular support pre-invasion, which went way up in the immediate aftermath, then gradually declined over a decade+. They are going to try to speedrun this one without a plan so assume it will blow up sooner and the anti-position will bear out.

I don't know enough about the City of Toronto Act but it seems clear that stronger/complete independence/charter city legislation is the sine qua non of unlocking future prosperity for the City across multiple dimensions (it was the top vote-getter in a recent Star poll on city-building ideas).

If Zach Edey is at all close to the guy he was during that 11 game stretch, how much does that change the Grizzlies future? Is it crazy to think they could even be pretty good-ish (3rd tier contender) in the West once they (hopefully) get guys back in the new year? (Ja obviously a huge ???)

Wemby-Harper-Castle looks like the makings of a championship-level core already. Do you think anyone else is part of that group (noting Fox's age and even more so, fit)? They also only have 1 more year after this before Victor gets expensive - what would you do to maximize their potential outcomes?
