Today, I found out that the Department of Defense banned the Well-Read Black Girl anthology by Glory Edim. I was one of its contributors.

TikTok’s actions this weekend (the Thano’s snap of social imo) is going to cause distrust and confusion with it’s users
Meta’s already experiencing that.
My prediction is we will enter a new world of social where users use but don’t trust these platforms, for valid reasons.

IMO The next app to succeed will be the one where users feel comfortable to be themselves.
Instagram is too curated. YouTube is great, but does require a lot of work. Creator burnout is real. TikTok was a respite from that. If it does goes away, it will be heartbreaking for creators and small biz.
