Some colleagues and I are developing a study of AI disclosure policies, especially in academic contexts. If you've come across such policies, please let me know where you saw them or just share the link!

Thanks for any places you might suggest!

This is an excellent survey from which you will actually learn quite a bit about the nuances of AI disclosure

I was on the way out of the academy in 2009, with a few publications to my name, and no positions other than an honorary affiliation. Then the NEH invested 50K in my first digital humanities project, and it made all the difference in the world for me, up to today: tiny.cc/4eef001

Yes! A version with cats: We had some for 17 years. At the end there was SO MUCH work cleaning up. I thought I’d love not having to do it when they passed away. Instead we spent a gloomy year without cats. Once we got more, there was a radical increase of joy at home. And yes we had to clean again!

If you only work in one context and not the other, note that one of our questions will list some of the most popular generative AI platforms in both countries, so this is your chance to find out what they are!

Among other things, we will be comparing AI disclosure practices among American and Chinese digital humanists

I’m developing a survey on the disclosure of AI use among DH’ers with @rongqianma.bsky.social & @xuhanzhang.bsky.social If you’d like to take it or know how we can get an email list of DH’ers, let me know. We’ll post the link here too and use results to inform funding agencies and institutions

My classmate at the CNUY Grad Center @triproftri.bsky.social submitted a partially digital one in the 2000s

I am very proud to say that I got a perfect score and, I must admit, with little effort. I’m not a poetry person by any stretch but I must have been paying attention back in the day!

Wow! Thank you! I need to set aside some time to review that list

Can anyone recommend DH or AI starter packs?
