Glad to share our work is accepted for presentation at #CHR2025! In this work, we experimented with ways to distinguish “parasitic poems”—which do not serve meaningful storytelling functions—from “nonparasitic” ones in Chinese vernacular fiction. Looking forward to sharing more at the conference!

Some colleagues and I are developing a study of AI disclosure policies, especially in academic contexts. If you've come across such policies, please let me know where you saw them or just share the link!

Thanks for any places you might suggest!

We interpret "cross-cultural perspective" broadly as differences across countries, regions, organizational cultures, disciplinary cultures, and languages. We invite studies that are both culture-specific and adopt a comparative lens. Both empirical work and theoretical contributions are welcomed.

📣 CFP: Do you research AI through a cross-cultural lens? Submit to our mini-track at AMCIS 2025, in Montreal, Canada: "Evaluating the Value of AI Technologies: Cross-cultural Perspectives!" 📝
