I'll admit I wasn't *enthusiastic* about the prospect of mountain biking in Indiana after living in Colorado for so long, but the volunteer network here have made some great tail systems

Like what if all the new arrivals just relaxed a bit and tried it the bluesky way? For a couple of years we've been blocking instead of fighting, supporting each other, using alt text, being kind, leading with humor, making friends, not trying for engagement and bait. It's really soothing actually.
The vibe is toxic on X, and a lot of folks haven't marinated in Bsky long enough & want this to be the "new Twitter!"
Pls don't make it Twitter; there's a reason we left.
Engagement farming stuff is weird & creepy FYI, & is catching blocks. Hopefully it'll all settle, like it has before.
